i just love Big Days.
when you turn and look at the little corner at the back of Church, you will see Cafe.
and during Big Days, especially after Service, you will see Cafe, bustling with Cafe Crews. - trying to chiong as many cups of lattes as possible.
"can someone pass me the milk?" one would shout while another says : "shots are ready! pass me the cups, quick!"
"how many more cups do we need ah?"
"need to steam more milk mah?"
"where
is the tablecloth?!"
haha, "hectic" maybe the word you may use to descirbe. but i love it, actually.
i am not sadistic as to fulfil my sense of satisfaction through this kind of "thrills".
but its really because it is a test of our faith, our skills and our flexibility (as in how we would react to situations like this.)
you will a few orders of coffee on every 10-30mins on normal Duties.
imagine you have to make like 30 (or more) cups of coffee within 15mins during Big Days!
its thrilling, isn't it?
panic? scared? worried? emo? how are you going to deal with it? that's the test. that's the challenge. (:
the best part of it all is that you get to work with your spiritual family!
its all about Team Work and serving God with our best!
we might not be as professional as Starbucks or Coffeebeans, in terms of skills or even all the fancy stuff they are using or whatsoever, but hey, we'll got something that's way cooler and better than them. we've got God and that's all we need!
because with God, all things are possible!
haha, i can't wait for more Big Days to come! (:
